Lynn Forester de Rothschild

Lynn Forester, Lady de Rothschild, is an American-British businesswoman. She chairs E.L. Rothschild, a holding company with investments in The Economist Group, wealth management, real estate, and agricultural interests, and she founded the Coalition for Inclusive Capitalism and the Council for Inclusive Capitalism.

Forester de Rothschild has been linked to Jeffrey Epstein primarily through accounts attributed to others rather than through documents she authored. According to a deposition Ghislaine Maxwell gave to the U.S. Department of Justice in July 2025, as reported by The Telegraph’s James Crisp on August 23, 2025, Maxwell said Forester de Rothschild “had a house or she rented a house in the Vineyard … and invited Epstein to go, and I believe that’s when he met Prince Andrew.” In the same deposition, Maxwell denied that she herself had made the introduction, stating: “I did not introduce him [Epstein] to Prince Andrew. I did not introduce him to Prince Andrew or to Sarah Ferguson.” Reporting about Epstein’s circle has likewise recounted Maxwell’s account that it was Rothschild who introduced Prince Andrew to Epstein, and that Epstein’s lawyer Alan Dershowitz said he was introduced to Epstein by Rothschild. A house owned by the de Rothschilds in Martha’s Vineyard has also been reported as the place where Peter Mandelson was introduced to Epstein.

Epstein claimed he had given her financial help in the 1990s during her divorce from Andrew Stein, a claim a spokesperson for Rothschild called “one hundred percent false.” The Telegraph report (via Yahoo) notes that organisations associated with Lady de Rothschild were approached for comment, and that her spokesman had previously firmly denied the claim that Epstein gave her financial help, telling Vanity Fair in 2019, “One hundred percent false.”
