Mandelson Tried to Get Epstein's 15-Year-Old 'Goddaughter' Into Downing Street

Newly surfaced Department of Justice emails have revealed that Peter Mandelson, while serving as UK Business Secretary, attempted to arrange access to 10 Downing Street and the House of Lords for Jeffrey Epstein’s 15-year-old “goddaughter,” according to a report published by Al Jazeera on April 2.¹

The emails, released as part of the ongoing Epstein document disclosures, show that Mandelson made the requests at a time when Epstein was serving a prison sentence in Florida after pleading guilty to soliciting a minor in 2008.¹

The Teenager in Question

The girl was identified in the documents as the daughter of Glenn Dubin, a hedge fund manager and longtime Epstein associate. Epstein had referred to the girl as his “goddaughter” in correspondence with multiple contacts, though no formal godparent relationship has been established.¹

Dubin and his wife, physician Eva Andersson-Dubin, maintained a social relationship with Epstein that persisted even after his 2008 conviction. The Dubins have previously denied knowledge of Epstein’s criminal conduct.

The emails indicate Mandelson sought to provide the teenager with what was described as a behind-the-scenes tour of Downing Street and an introduction to the workings of the House of Lords. The documents do not specify whether the visits ultimately took place.¹

Connection to Prince Andrew

Al Jazeera reported that the same teenager later met Prince Andrew at Buckingham Palace, adding another layer to the web of connections between Epstein’s circle and the British establishment.¹

The circumstances of the Buckingham Palace meeting remain unclear from the released documents. Prince Andrew has faced sustained scrutiny over his friendship with Epstein, which included a 2010 visit to Epstein’s New York residence after the financier’s release from prison.

The revelation adds to a growing body of evidence showing how Epstein leveraged his relationships with powerful figures to facilitate access for members of his social circle, including minors, to seats of political power.

Mandelson’s Epstein Ties Under Scrutiny

Mandelson’s connections to Epstein have been a subject of intense public interest in recent months. Documents released earlier in 2026 showed Mandelson visited Epstein’s properties on multiple occasions, and a photograph of Mandelson and Prince Andrew together with Epstein was published by the DOJ in March.²

The UK government said in March that Prime Minister Keir Starmer “deeply regrets” appointing Mandelson as the UK’s ambassador to the United States, a position he assumed before the full extent of his Epstein contacts became public.

The Metropolitan Police has said it is examining the Epstein files for any evidence of criminal conduct on British soil. Mandelson has not been accused of any crime and has said his interactions with Epstein were limited to professional and social settings.

Political Fallout

Opposition lawmakers called the latest revelations “deeply disturbing” and demanded a full accounting of what Mandelson knew about Epstein’s criminal activities at the time the access requests were made.

A spokesperson for Mandelson did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the newly released emails. The House of Lords declined to comment on whether records exist showing the teenager visited the premises.¹

The DOJ has continued to release Epstein-related documents on a rolling basis under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, though the pace and scope of disclosures have been a source of ongoing political dispute.
