Nicole Junkermann

Nicole Junkermann is a German businesswoman and investor. She founded NJF Holdings, an international investment firm with interests in venture capital, private equity, and real estate, and she has held positions including trustee of the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and, from September 2025, visiting professor at Lancaster University.

Documents released as part of the files show that after his 2008 conviction Junkermann was in close friendship, and in repeated email correspondence with the financier and convicted sex offender over several years from the early 2010s. A report by Matthew Field in The Telegraph (published February 8, 2026, accessed via Yahoo) states that Junkermann “exchanged hundreds of emails” with Epstein, appeared in his flight logs as far back as 2002, and that the earliest disclosed correspondence dates to May 2009, continuing over the following decade; in one email she referred to Epstein as “Mr Wonderful.” The Tab reported (February 11, 2026) that an account under her name was named 3,475 times in the files and engaged in “extensive email communication,” and that Lancaster University said her post as visiting professor “has been terminated” while noting she “is not an employee.” The Sunday Guardian (February 16, 2026) reported that she also stepped down as a trustee of the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity amid the scrutiny.

In response, Junkermann’s spokesperson said, as quoted by The Telegraph (via Yahoo) and the other sources: “The scale of Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes is appalling. As a woman and a mother, Nicole was completely deceived and misled by him and deeply regrets their conversations regarding personal and professional matters.” The Tab reported that Epstein in some messages sought her help, including in “finding” young women, while also reporting that no evidence suggests she accepted any such requests. Junkermann is named as a contact and associate; she is not alleged in these sources to be a victim or a perpetrator of any crime.
